One of the UK’s leading Retail/ FMCG brands is currently recruiting for a Marketing Director for their offices in London
·Work with the Head of CRM to set a clear vision and roadmap for success
·Work closely with HR and Retail Directors to ensure strong internal communication plans
·Work closely with Corporate Comms teams to influence plans and ensure they are customer and staff-centric
·Develop brand strategy based on insight and data.
·Influence international & zone event calendars, bringing in UK insight and perspective.
·Amplify events with local market activities where appropriate to drive increased visibility and engagement (incl. retail marketing, external communication, PR, Social)
·Closely monitor and balance the ROI and sales performance of our loyalty programme
·Use customer data to drive business strategy and performance, working with Head of IMC and Head of Performance Marketing
·Ensure strong analysis of all relevant activity and recommend improvements
Skills/ Experience required
·Previous success in converting strategies into real results with operational excellence
·Sound knowledge and experience of creating in-store theatre and social content
·Strong commercial acumen, focusing on delivering sales with clear ROI
·6+ years’ experience in a highly commercial marketing role in retailer/FMCG.
·Previous experience of beauty / luxury goods advantageous but not mandatory. Sensitivity to beauty is critical.
·Strong track record of leading and managing teams with a collaborative spirit
·Experience working with big data, drawing out insights and creating robust plans
·International experience and/or exposure to a varied and demanding client base
·Proven budgetary control experience
The ideal candidate will have a marketing background ideally gained in the FMCG/ Retail sector.
